SO, HOW DOES IT ALL WORK?
Really simply!
Step 1: Consultation
Free initial meeting/visit and consultation to discuss any aspect of Interiors, kitchens, panelling & furniture, look at work done and discuss plans and initial ideas.
Step 2: Design
Prepare drawings, schemes and costs. Depending on work needed, I charge between £250 and £500 for designs per room scheme, which you get back if you go ahead.
Step 3: Implementation
At this stage - whether it's a kitchen, panelling, furniture or any item from an Interior Scheme, curtains, carpets, sofas, decoration, etc. - I am no different from a John Lewis, Peter Jones, B&Q or Harrods, for that matter. I act like a shop that has workshops and contractors that specifically work under agreements for the trade, therefore making the price you pay competitive with high street prices. Some contractors have known and worked with me for 18 years now. However, being independent, I am also not limited to showroom floor stock and can advise on how to make schemes work.
I will progress the work that needs to be done as quickly and smoothly as possible, in a friendly, down to earth, straight forward manner.
Consultation Service
If, as sometimes happens, you are in the middle of decoration/refurbishment and just need help and advice, I can come out to reassure, give a sense of direction to your own schemes, and advise for between £75 - £120 per visit depending how far away you are, and how long I spend.
For a recent example I designed a bespoke kitchen for a customer and showed drawings to standard retail workshops.
Prices came back at £55,000, another at £60,0000, and a third for £80,0000.
With my old trade contractors it cost the client
£25,0000 + vat.
My curtains prices are also competitive. For example, a
full length pair of hand made bespoke curtains is:
£200 per side 1.5 widths lined and interlined.
£150 if pelmet needed.
£75.00 to fit track and installation.
Plus fabric and track/pole.
My decorator & plasterer tiler team charge out at £150/day. Some plasterers and tilers charge £200/day
I am not the cheapest nor the most expensive, but intend to keep fair competitive high street prices. I am looking to make friends that can recommend me and come back again and develop ideas together.
